THE GAME
The Bobcats set the tone early as they were electric in the 1st quarter. After rattling off 6 unanswered goals, the Bobcats seemed prime for blowout victory.
Luke Ory stopped the bleeding as he put the Pioneers on the board. Frostburg State scored once more in the quarter to take a commanding 7-1 lead.
Frostburg opened the second quarter with a quick goal and seemed to be running away, but
Luke Ory had other ideas as he scored his second goal of the game on a feed from
Jacob Curtis. The Bobcats scored 5 more goals in the quarter but the Pioneers weren't going away quietly as
Talon Heath hit paydirt and
Nolan Winter flushed home a pair. At the half the Pioneers found themselves facing a 13-5 deficit.
The Bobcats opened the third with two more goals. Heath scored again to conclude the third and he was followed by
Ramsey Burnard who ended his goalless skid to open the fourth. Down 16-7 with five and some change left in the game, Ory flashed his potential as he netted three goals in the span of just sixty seconds. The Pioneers showed grit and won the second half but ultimately fell 16-10.
