THE GAME
The Hawks set the tone early as they fired home four goals within the first six minutes of the contest. Talon Heath answered with his 10th and 11th goals of the season on feeds from Eli Ciotti and Zac Smargiasso. Quincy found the back of the net one more time in the period to leave the Pioneers facing a 5-2 deficit after one.

The Hawks turned up the pressure, starting the 2nd quarter with three more rapid fire goals to stretch their lead to six. Heath continued to battle and netted another on the set up pass from Luke Ory. Despite Heath scoring two more times in the quarter and John Mautz III netting another, the Hawks went into the locker room up 13-6.

Malone came out of the half looking to battle back as Kenny Kaiser set Ciotti up for his 11th goal of the season. The defense continued to struggle as Quincy continued the onslaught with three more goals, running the deficit to nine for the Pioneers. Heath and Ory closed out the period with two more quick hitters, leaving the score at 16-9 through 3.

Ciotti, Kaiser, and Smargiasso all hit pay dirt in the 4th, but it wasn't enough as the Hawks kept the pressure on and ended the game with a 20-12 victory.
