Painesville, OH - The Pioneers headed to Painesville for "Saturday Night Lights" action against conference powerhouse Lake Erie.

The Game
The Pioneers fought hard through 90 minutes in a tough battle with the Storm. Costly mistakes were the difference between the two sides in this one. Although the shots were being pumped out by each side in the first half, 6 for the Pioneers and 8 for Storm, the Storm were able to capitalize on a couple Pioneer errors to go up 2-0 via goals from Wassim Metatla and Mathi Ott. Coming out of the break the Pioneers cleaned things up and put the pressure on Lake Erie. Gavin Csiszar made things interesting when he tallied his 6th goal of the season through an incredible solo effort. Unfortunately it wasn't enough though as the Storm held the Pioneers off to come away with the 2-1 win.
