Owensboro, KY -- The Malone Women's Volleyball Team got back into the win column Friday night.
The Pioneers upended Kentucky Wesleyan by a score of 3-1.

THE MATCH
Kentucky Wesleyan started out strong taking an early 4-0 lead. However, the Pioneers did not panic and quickly turned things around.
Malone was eventually able to pull away from the panthers to grab the set one win! Junior
Grace Rosko played a large part with 5 kills in the set one victory.
In set 2Â Malone was able to put together a masterful offensive performance. The Pioneers won the set by a score of 25-9.
Kentucky Wesleyan wouldn't go away easy. The Panthers were able to grab set three which put some pressure on Malone.Â
The Pioneers answered the challenge with a strong set four to give them the win in four sets. Macey McCauley's defensive effort helped Malone big time! This win should add some confidence to the team moving forward.
DETAILS
Grace Rosko continued her dominance leading the Pioneers with 12 kills!
Gabby Rodriguez added 7 kills for Malone respectively.
Macey McCauley came away with 22 digs for the match.
Mallory Meinen had an impressive 21 assists.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone will be back in action tomorrow when they travel to Nashville to take on Trevecca Nazarene University.Â
The game is slated for a 2:00 pm start time.
