Crestview Hills, Ky. -- The Malone University men's lacrosse team traveled to Kentucky to play Thomas More and try to get back in the winning column. 

Thomas More held onto a slight lead through the half, but the Pioneer men mounted a comeback to ensure the win on Wednesday night.

THE GAME
Malone's own, Talon Heath, struck first to start the game with about nine minutes to go in the first quarter. 

Thomas More then scored three straight, with Ramsey Burnard ending the first quarter with a goal of his own. Thomas More had the lead 3-2 at the end of the first. 

Kenny Kaiser, Ramsey Burnard, and Talon Heath tried their best to take back the lead in the second quarter by finding the back of Thomas More's net, but the four goals were matched by Thomas More's offense. Thomas More led at halftime 7-6. 

Zac Smargiasso, Ramsey Burnard, Kenny Kaiser came out the half to take the lead, while the Pioneer defense pitched a shutout to close the third quarter with a 9-7 lead. 

Zac Smargiasso put the dagger in Thomas More's comeback try by finding the back of the net once again in the fourth quarter. 

The Malone men held on to win 10-9 down in Kentucky.
