RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Saturday, the Malone University men's lacrosse team hit the road for the second time this season.
The Pioneers traveled to New Jersey for a non-conference game with Felician University.
Malone never trailed on their way to a 17-8 win.

THE GAME
The opening two goals of the game came from
Nolan Winter and
Kenny Kaiser while the Pioneers were playing a man up after a Golden Falcon crosscheck penalty.
Ramsey Burnard's goal made it 3-0 Malone early on.
Felician rallied back to make it a 3-2 game after the first quarter. The Golden Falcons also scored the first goal of the second quarter to tie the game at 3-3.
The Pioneers scored five of the next seven goals with two of them coming from Kaiser to help carry an 8-3 lead to halftime.
Malone dominated the third quarter.
Zac Smargiasso, Kaiser, and
Ramsey Burnard all scored goals in the quarter to put the Pioneers up 11-5 heading into the final quarter.
The final result was never in doubt down the stretch as Malone outscored Felician 6-3 in the fourth quarter to put the finishing touches on the 17-8 win.
