THE GAME
Both sides traded scores for much of the first half, until a late second quarter run by the Pioneers.

The third quarter is where the Pioneers started to put the Tomcats away. The 3-0 second quarter run turned into a 7-0 run overall as Malone scored the opening four goals of the third quarter to pull ahead 14-6.

MU's defense only surrendered three total goals in the second half, and the offense continued to pull away from Thiel down the stretch.
