CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. — The Malone University women's basketball team (4-4, 1-1 G-MAC) fell to Thomas More University (4-3, 2-1 G-MAC) on Thursday evening, December 7.
The Saints controlled the game from the tip-off and made life very difficult for the Pioneers. The visitors trailed 37-28 at the half, but Thomas More's defense stifled the Pioneer offense, holding them to just 18 points in the second half. Malone was 2-20 from three-point range and shot 34.6% from the field, numbers they will look to improve upon before their next game. The Pioneers turned the ball over 17 times compared to Thomas More's 10 turnovers.
