MIDLAND, Mich. — The Malone University volleyball team (5-23, 3-13 G-MAC) fell to Northwood University (16-11, 11-5 G-MAC) in three sets on Saturday evening, November 4.
In the first set, the Pioneers fought hard and even led 18-17 before the Timberwolves came from behind to win the set 25-19. In the second set, the Pioneers could not overcome an early 7-1 deficit created by Northwood and found themselves down two sets to none after losing 25-18. Despite Malone leading 11-6, it was Northwood who took the third and final set by a score of 25-20 to seal the win.

Gabby Rodriguez had six kills and six digs on the night.
Brianne Salinas added six kills and four blocks.
Grace Rosko had five kills and five blocks.
Jaymes Gilbert had a good night at the net as she totaled eight blocks.
Mallory Meinen led the team with 11 assists.

The Pioneers return home to host (RV) Hillsdale College on Thursday evening, November 9. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Osborne Hall.
