HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Malone University volleyball team (5-22, 3-12 G-MAC) was defeated in three sets to (RV) Hillsdale College (21-5, 13-2 G-MAC) on Friday evening, November 5.
The Pioneers kept it close in set one, getting within one of Hillsdale at 16-15. However, the Chargers went on a 9-1 run and took the set by a score of 25-16. The hosts went on to win the next two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-12, respectively.
Inside the Box Score
Gabi Smith led the Pioneers offensively with seven kills.
Gabby Rodriguez posted six kills and a block.
Grace Rosko added five kills and two blocks.
Mallory Meinen had 10 assists on the evening.
Macy McCauley had a team-high 13 digs.
What's Next
The Pioneers will stay in Michigan and face Northwood University on Saturday evening, November 4. First serve is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
