CANTON, Ohio. – The Malone University women's basketball team (2-3, 0-0 G-MAC) beat Point Park University (4-2, 0-0 RSC) by a score of 75-63 on Wednesday afternoon, November 22 in Osborne Hall.
Malone and Point Park met Wednesday afternoon in a matchup where both teams go by the Pioneers nickname. In the early part of the first quarter, both sides went back and forth until Malone built a small lead up. Point Park fought back in the second quarter and drew within three at the break, trailing Malone 32-29. In the second half, the hosts began to pull away. Malone outscored Point Park 43-34 in the second half to clinch the victory.

Erin Kaufman had a double-double, putting up 24 points and securing 10 rebounds. She also had two assists on the day.
Aila Miller had 15 points and eight rebounds.
Brooklyn Troyer had 12 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
Brinn Hunt added eight points and seven boards.
Nataley Armstrong had seven points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

The Pioneers are back in Osborne Hall on Tuesday, November 28 as they host Slippery Rock University. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
