Canton, OH-- On Tuesday night, Malone hosted its Breast Cancer Awareness Match. The Women's team wore its pink jerseys to support Breast Cancer!
The women's soccer team was defeated in a 1-0 nail biter to conference foe Ohio Dominican.

The Game
The first half was highly contested between Malone and ODU. Both teams provided good defense and excellent goal keeping.
The Panthers had and early opportunity to score, but Pioneer goalie
Amelia Henderhan was up to the challenge. She made a great save keeping the ball out of the net.
Malone had some first half opportunities with shots from
Morgan Ross,
Reagan McCourt, andÂ
Camryn Emerling that were all saved by the Panther goal keeper. The score was 0-0 at the half.
Ohio Dominican started off the second half strong. The Panthers scored in the 51st minute putting the pressure on Malone.
Panther goalie Kaitlin Grady some unbelievable saves to keep Malone out of the net and ultimately give Ohio Dominican the 1-0 win.
What's Next
The Pioneers have a quick turn around as they will be back in action on Thursday, October 6th at home against Kentucky Wesleyan College at 6pm.
