The Game
The first half didn't go the way Malone hoped it would. Thomas More scored two first half goals at the 19:12 and 34:22 marks. The Malone defense struggled to contain their dynamic attack.
As the game progressed, the Pioneers fought back with determination, but their efforts were met with the defense from Thomas More. Shots were hard to come by for Malone as they only had 4 all game.
The Saints added another goal in the 80th minute to add cushioning. The best chance for Malone to put a goal through the net came in the 84th minute.
Brynn Mowrer shot a rocket from the left side, but the Thomas More goalkeeper Lauren Welsh made the save.
