Nashville, TN-- The Pioneers took on the Trojans on Thursday night under the lights. Malone suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss.

The Game
The Pioneers played their best match of the season, dominating for the majority of the game. They combined for some beautiful soccer throughout the game and had chance after chance.
About 15 minutes into the game the Trojans were awarded a corner kick which trickled out to the top of the box. From there it was slotted home by Trevecca's Douglas De Silva Moura to put them up 1-0.
However, the Pioneers weren't fazed by it and responded well by remaining on the front foot. They came out in the second half and fired one home through a
Mason Gradel shot from inside from inside the six, but it was questionably ruled offside.
Minutes later,
Mason Gradel put a touched a perfect pass to Gavin Csizar, who scored his eighth goal of the season, which tied the game. Midway through the second half, Trevecca was awarded with another corner kick, but there was lots of contact with the Pioneer goalie.
The ball ultimately ended up in the net but wasn't officially ruled a goal until the referees game together to discuss the play.
The Pioneers once again battled back through adversity and had chances, however the Trojan goal keeper made some great saves to help Trevecca escape with the win.
What's Next
The Pioneers close out their away trip against Thomas More on Saturday looking to come away with some points to help them in their push for the playoffs.
