NASHVILLE, Tenn. — On Thursday evening, October 12, Malone University women's soccer team was defeated by Trevecca Nazarene University by a final score of 3-1.
The contest, drew an impressive crowd of of 359 spectators.

The Game
Malone struggled with Trevecca Nazarene's attack early in the game, as the hosts scored two goals in the first half to take a 2-0 lead.
The Pioneers fought hard to keep the ball out of the net. Pioneer goalkeeper
Amelia Henderhan made tough saves all night to keep her team in the game. Trevecca Nazarene had 18 total shots with 14 of those being on target.
Trevecca Nazarene added another goal in the second half putting the Trojans up 3-0 and firmly in control of the match.
Malone showed resilience and fought back with a goal from
Sydney Farinacci at
69:43, assisted by
Brynn Mowrer. However, the visitors' efforts were not enough to complete a comeback. Henderhan made 11 saves.
