THE GAME
Brooklyn Troyer took the Pioneers' opening possession for a layup for the games first score. The Oilers tied the score at eight with 6:09 left in the first quarter.

The rest of the game was for the Pioneers as Emma Kallas gave Malone the lead again.

Kyli Horn sparked a Malone run with back-to-back three pointers. A three-pointer by Alexis Hutchison gave the Pioneers their first double-digit lead of the night.

It took three and a half minutes for the Pioneers to score in the second quarter with Hutchison getting a jumper from the paint.

Hutchison's three-pointer with just under two minutes before halftime was the last Pioneer score before the break.

Findlay was able to cut in a bit to send the teams to the locker rooms with Malone up 33-28.

The Pioneers had the opening possession of the second half, and Erin Kaufman capitalized scoring another shot in the paint.

While the two teams got hot and traded baskets, Malone retained a minimum of a five point lead.

The Pioneers scored 22 points in the third quarter. That included ten from the charity stripe (5 from Kallas and 5 from Kaufman).

To close the third quarter, Hutchison sank her third three-pointer of the game with an assist from Brinn Hunt.

Kyli Horn scored 12 of her points in the fourth quarter including two more shots from beyond the arc.

Her second three pointer in less than 40 seconds, gave Malone their largest lead of the day at 14 points.

Horn had two free throws to close out the Pioneers offensive front before Findlay got one last score to give the Pioneers the 76-68 victory, and their fifth win in a row on the road.
