TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Malone University men's basketball team traveled to Tiffin University on Thursday night for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup with the Dragons.
Unfortunately the Pioneers found themselves down 41-32 at halftime, and were unable to complete the comeback in the second half as the Dragons held on for an 82-76 win.

THE GAME
Tiffin opened by scoring the first five points of the contest.
Levi Seiler was able to get the Pioneers on the scoreboard with a three-pointer, but Malone played the majority of the first-half from behind.
The Dragons stretched out their lead to 19-11, but a quick run by MU eliminated the deficit.
Justin Miller jumpstarted the 9-0 run with a layup and a free throw. He also capped off the run with a jumper that gave Malone their first lead of the night at 20-19.
Unfortunately Tiffin fought right back. The Dragons took back the lead, and then stretched their advantage out to 41-32 at the halftime break.
The Pioneers were never able to overcome that deficit in the second half.
Each time that Malone made a run, Tiffin came back with an answer.
The Dragons led by as many as 14 points in the second half.
The Pioneers got as close as three-points two separate times with less than a minute remaining, but Tiffin was ultimately able to close out the game, and the 82-76 win, from the free throw line.
DETAILS
- Bo Myers scored a game-high 29 points, 22 of them coming in the second half. He was 11-19 from the field and 5-12 from three-point range.
- Justin Miller finished with 18 points.
- Simon Blair and Levi Seiler each added 11 points.

Malone travels to the University of Findlay on Saturday. Tip-off against the Oilers is set for 3:00 p.m.
