FINDLAY, Ohio -- Saturday afternoon the Malone University men's basketball team traveled to the University of Findlay looking to bounce back after their road loss at Tiffin Thursday.
Unfortunately the Pioneers found themselves trailing the Oilers by 12 points at halftime, and were unable to overcome the deficit in the second half as Findlay came away with the 96-82 win.

THE GAME
The home court advantage led to a hot-shooting afternoon for the Oilers.
Findlay poured in 51 points in the first half on 57.6% shooting from the field. They were also 52% (10-19) on their three-point opportunities.
Despite all of that, the Pioneers were the ones on top of the scoreboard as late as the 6:23 mark of the half.
Unfortunately the Oilers closed the half strong to carry a 51-39 lead into the locker room.
Findlay kept things rolling in the second-half, leading by as many as 21 points, before ultimately closing out the 96-82 win.
DETAILS
- Levi Seiler set a new career-high with 25 points. He was 9-16 from the field, and also pulled down 8 rebounds.
- Bo Myers finished with 21 points. He is second in the G-MAC in scoring at 17.9 points per game.
- Simon Blair's 15 points rounded out the double-digit scorers for Malone
- Justin Miller, who still is the G-MAC leader in scoring (18.8 ppg), was limited to 8 points.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone returns home where they will host the Ashland University Eagles on Thursday night. Tip-off from Osborne Hall is set for 7:30 p.m.
