Rochester, N.Y. -- The Malone University men's soccer team dropped a second match on their road trip through the 'Empire State' of New York Saturday.
It was a slow start for the Pioneers, however momentum started to swing their way towards the end of the game. Unfortunately Roberts Wesleyan College ultimately scored three goals to Malone's one.

THE MATCH
Roberts Wesleyan took advantage of their opportunities early on in the game, scoring twice in the first half.
After the second goal by the Redhawks, things were quiet offensively on both sides until late in the second half when RWC found the back of Malone's net once again.
Soon after, Malone found a spark which led to their first score of the game. Freshman
Mason Gradel beat the Redhawk keeper in the 67th minute for his first collegiate goal.
It was a hard fought battle all the way to the last whistle, but Malone was not able to overcome the early deficit.
In the end Roberts Wesleyan held on for the 3-1 win.

Malone came away with four saves compared to Roberts Wesleyan's one. Malone had twelve total shots with two being on target.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone returns home to open up Great Midwest Athletic Conference play against the University of Findlay on Thursday at King Field.
Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
