CANTON -- The Malone University women's soccer team was back on their home turf Thursday night for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) match with Ursuline College.
The visiting Arrows scored just prior to the halftime break, but the Pioneers answered in the second-half.
In the end the match ended in a 1-1 draw with both teams earning a point in the G-MAC standings.

THE MATCH
It took nearly the full first half before either team got on the scoreboard.
The Arrows broke the scoreless tie with a goal in the 43rd minute, and carried that 1-0 advantage into the halftime break.
Just over five minutes into the second-half the Pioneers got the equalizer.
Teegan Graff sent a free kick opportunity into the box, and
Camryn Emerling headed the ball home for her second goal of the season. It was Graff's team-leading second assist of the season.
Malone had a handful of opportunities to take a lead late in the match, but Ursuline's defense held strong and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
DETAILS
For Malone, it is their third consecutive 1-1 draw to open up G-MAC play. The Pioneers currently sit at tenth place in the league standings with the three points.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone begins a stretch of three straight road games. First up is a trip to Kentucky Wesleyan College this weekend.
Saturday's kick-off from Owensboro is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET
