OWENSBORO, Ky. -- For just the second time this season the Malone University women's soccer team played a match away from home Saturday.
The Pioneers traveled to Kentucky Wesleyan College for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) battle.
Unfortunately the Panthers scored once in each half to come away with the 2-0 win.

THE MATCH
Less than eight minutes into the game KWC scored first. That 1-0 advantage held through the halftime break.
Late in the second half the Panthers stretched their lead out to 2-0 with another goal.
Despite outshooting KWC 18-10, and 9-4 in shots on goal, the Pioneers were unable to break through the Panther defense for a score.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone will face crosstown rival Walsh University in North Canton on Thursday night. Kick-off is set for 5:00 p.m.
