The Timberwolves outshot Malone 16-4 in the second 45 minutes of the game, however it took until the 81st minute for NU to score the game's first goal.Â
Less than five minutes later
Camryn Emerling sent a cross flying into the box.
Makiah Newport redirected the ball with her head into the back of the Northwood goal for the equalizer.Â
Both defenses held strong over the final five minutes, and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.Â
