AMHERST, N.Y. -- The Malone men's soccer team dropped a heartbreaker on the road against the Daemen University Wildcats Thursday afternoon.
The Pioneers scored once in the first half, but the Wildcats rallied back with two of their own in the second to pick up the win by a final score of 2-1.

THE MATCH
Sophomore
Randy Harris broke a scoreless tie in the 44th minute when he scored the opening goal off of
Christian Piccolotto's assist.
Less than four minutes into the second half, the Wildcats evened the score by finding the back of the Pioneer's net.
It was a hard fought stale mate for the next 20 mintues of the match until the Wildcats took the lead off a goal in the 74th minute.
Daemen was able to shut out the Pioneers for the rest of the game.

Malone's shooting game was highly accurate with 8 of their 11 shots being on target compared to Daemen's 3 out of 13 being on target.

Malone continues on the road in New York to face off against Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday Sept. 3rd.
