CANTON -- Thursday night, the Malone University men's basketball team hits the road for the final away game of the 2021-22 regular season.

The Pioneers will travel to Tiffin University for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup with the Dragons.

SERIES HISTORY
This will be the 94th meeting all-time on the hardwood between these two schools. The Pioneers are winners of five straight meetings, and hold a commanding 68-25 lead in the overall series. 

In the earlier matchup this season, Bo Myers poured in 31 points to help lift Malone to a 100-82 win inside Osborne Hall. 

Tiffin's last victory over the Pioneers came in February of 2016. 

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT MALONE UNIVERSITY

• Malone suffered their sixth loss of the season on Saturday. Findlay closed out the first-half strong to carry a six-point advantage into the break. UF controlled the second-half as well, as they beat the Pioneers going away by a final score of 96-72. 
• Despite being held to just the 72 points over the weekend, the Pioneers still enter Thursday's game with the highest scoring offense in the G-MAC (81.1 ppg). Tiffin ranks second however, at 79.7 ppg.
• Malone's offense continues to boast five players: Bryce Butler (17.1 ppg), Bo Myers (16.9 ppg), Marcus Ernst (12.9 ppg), Justin Miller (12.7 ppg), and Jaret Majestic (11.0 ppg) who all average in double digits. Butler's total is third-best in the league, while Myers ranks fifth.
• Bo Myers leads the G-MAC in three-point field percentage (42.0%). 
• Marcus Ernst is second in the league in rebounds per game (9.6), and is fourth in field-goal percentage (54.1%).

• The Dragons enter off of a double-digit win over Trevecca Nazarene this past Saturday. Tiffin outscored the Trojans by eleven points in the second-half to run away with the 75-62 win.
• Tiffin's offense has six double-digit scorers, but it is sophomore Taylor Morgan who leads the way at 12.8 points per game. Tylin Lockett-Fuller, who scored a team-high 21 points in the last matchup with Malone, is second on the team at 12.5 points per game.
• Tanner Johnson is tied for the G-MAC lead averaging 3.0 three-point field goals per game. 
• The Dragons, who were picked to finish eleventh in the conference in the preseason coaches poll, are led by fourth-year head coach Tom Church.
