CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- The Malone University women's soccer team traveled to Cedarville University on Saturday for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) match with the Yellow Jackets.
The Pioneers found themselves trailing 2-1 at the halftime break, and neither team scored in the second half as the Jackets held on for the conference win.

THE MATCH
Cedarville opened up the scoring with a goal in the eighteenth minute of the match, but it did not take long for the Pioneers to answer.
Just over two minutes later
McKenzie Mobley's looping shot from just outside the eighteen found the back of the net to tie the match at 1-1.
Unfortunately the Jackets answered back with a goal in the 29th minute.
That 2-1 score held for the remainder of the contest as Cedarville held on to earn the G-MAC win.
DETAILS
Mobley's goal is the first of her collegiate career. She becomes the sixth different Pioneer to score at least one goal this season.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone will travel to nationally ranked Ashland on Thursday night for a rematch with the Eagles.
Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
