After a scoreless first half, the second half was jam packed with action with a total of 18 shots from both teams. A late goal by Malone wasn't enough to get the win over Cedarville.
The final score was 3-1 in favor of Cedarville University.

The first half was a defensive battle for the Pioneer men as Cedarville kept the pressure on with a total of nine shots in the half, while none of them found the back of the net.
Gavyn Ernst had two saves on the half.

Randy Harris netted a solo goal late in the game, making that his fourth on the year.
This Malone surge just wasn't enough to get the job done, making it a 3-1 win for the Yellow Jackets.
