CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Saturday afternoon, Malone looked to add a win on the road going up against Cedarville University. 

After a scoreless first half, the second half was jam packed with action with a total of 18 shots from both teams. A late goal by Malone wasn't enough to get the win over Cedarville. 

The final score was 3-1 in favor of Cedarville University.

THE MATCH
The first half was a defensive battle for the Pioneer men as Cedarville kept the pressure on with a total of nine shots in the half, while none of them found the back of the net.

Gavyn Ernst had two saves on the half. 

At the half, the score was tied 0-0. 

The Yellow Jackets came out of the half hot, scoring three unanswered goals. 

Sophomore Randy Harris netted a solo goal late in the game, making that his fourth on the year.

This Malone surge just wasn't enough to get the job done, making it a 3-1 win for the Yellow Jackets.
