WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT MALONE UNIVERSITY
Roster | Schedule | Stats
  • Malone rebounded back with a 75-70 win over Ohio Dominican University on Thursday night. Late in the game Bryce Butler broke a 64-64 tie with a free throw and Malone never trailed again.  A three-point play from Marcus Ernst made it a 69-65 game, and the Pioneers were ultimately able to ice away the 75-70 win from the free throw line down the stretch.
  • That victory is the 100th career head coaching win for Casey Kaufman. He becomes just the third Pioneer coach to win at least 100 games during their career.
  • Bo Myers and Marcus Ernst each finished with 18 points in the win over ODU. For Ernst, it was a season-high in scoring. For Myers, he made his first three-point attempt of the second-half which pushed him across the 1,000 career point threshold. He becomes the second Pioneer player to reach that career milestone this season. Bryce Butler scored his 1,000th point in Malone's 102-84 win over the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown back on November 30.
  • Bryce Butler (17.2) and Bo Myers (17.1) are the leading scorers for Malone this season. They also rank fourth and fifth overall in the G-MAC respectively.
  • Justin Miller (14.9 ppg) is also top-10 in the league in scoring. He ranks eighth. Miller also ranks second in the G-MAC with 70 total assists.
  • Marucs Ernst narrowly missed out on another double-double performance on Thursday, but he still enters Saturday's game as the second leading rebounder in the G-MAC. Ernst averages 9.5 boards per game.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY
