COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Saturday afternoon, the Malone University men's soccer team faced off against Ohio Dominican University for another Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup.
The Panthers (3-1-1) and the Pioneers (0-6-0) went back and forth in a very competitive first half, keeping the score 0-0 at the half.
The Panthers' relentless attack finally found the back of the net in the 57th minute.
The Pioneers went on full attack trying to match the Panthers, but unfortunately conceited their second goal of the match in the 87th minute.
That final score held for ODU, and the Panthers picked up three points in the conference standings with the 2-0 win.
PIONEER POINTS
- Malone was out-shot by ODU 17-13, 6-4 on target. Antoine Leheron led the Pioneers with five shots. One of his opportunities was on target.
- Malone and Ohio Dominican both came away with four saves a piece.
