CANTON, Ohio – The Malone University men's soccer team will have senior day to honor the class of 2021 on Thursday afternoon prior to a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) match with Trevecca Nazarene University.

MEN'S SOCCER SERIES HISTORY:
Malone is 1-4 all-time against the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans, with the Pioneers' only win coming in their most recent match in 2019. Malone defeated Trevecca in Nashville, Tennessee 3-1, with senior Nathan McFeaters netting two goals in the contest. Senior Nick Wilhelm got the win in net, making eight saves on 11 total shots.

Seven seniors will be honored prior to Thursday's game, including Nick Wilhelm, Nathan McFeaters, Andrew Brengelman, Patrick Brightbill, Dillan Raines, Austin Coldsnow and Carter Hartong.
 
In net, Nick Wilhelm has played in 20 matches and started in 15 of them. Over the course of his career, he has made 92 total saves and has collected three wins.
 
Dillan Raines and Carter Hartong make up the back unit for the Pioneers. Each of them have played over 400 minutes in their careers and Hartong has made four starts in the 2021 season.
 
On the offensive side of the ball, Nathan McFeaters, Andrew Brengelman, Patrick Brightbill and Austin Coldsnow will all graduate this coming May. The foursome has combined to score 19 goals and assist on 11 balls in the net.

The Trojans are currently in the seven spot in the conference standings, just one point ahead of eighth place. This is a big match for them in the fight to make the postseason.
 
Trevecca Nazarene has only scored five goals this season, the second-lowest in the G-MAC. They surrender almost two per match and have the second-lowest scoring differential as well.
 
Yared Ambaw has scored a team-high three goals for the Trojans this season. He sits fifth in the G-MAC statistical leaderboard. Carlos Bravo is one of a laundry list of G-MAC men's soccer athletes to notch two assists in the 2021 spring season.
 
Tyler Delgado started the first six games in net, before turning it over to freshman Isaac Layman. Layman is 2-1 in starts this season.
