FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE PIONEERS
- There are still a plethora of scenarios that could play out over the final weekend of the regular season, which now extends into early next week due to some rescheduled matches across the league, but Malone University is right in the hunt for a berth into the 2020-21 Great Midwest Women's Soccer Championship Tournament which begins next weekend. The top 8 seeds in the conference standings will qualify for the postseason, with the top four teams hosting a quarterfinal match. The Pioneers are currently in a four-way tie for the fourth seed.
-
Keeley Malley, who has started all 10 matches this season, continues to lead the G-MAC in shots on goal. 21 of her 31 looks at goal have been on frame.
-
Madeline Ault had the assist on the team's lone goal in Thursday night's loss at Cedarville. She now leads the G-MAC with 12 points (5 goals, 2 assists) this season.
- Thursday's goal came off the foot of Sally Culig. It was her third of the season. In what has been a balanced offensive attack all season long, only Ault and Culig have scored more than one goal this year.
-
Nine saves by Jessica Morgan was her second-most this season. She now has 43 saves on the year, and has played every second in goal since returning to the lineup for the March 18 win against Lake Erie.

Defensively three different players have played goalie for ODU, but freshman Jadelyn McNerney has accumulated a team-high 724:11 in the net. She has a .939 save percentage.
