MALONE PIONEERS TEAM NOTES:
Schedule | Roster | Statistics

The Pioneers dropped their last match to nationally-ranked Ohio Valley 3-0, but put forth a valiant effort and followed the gameplan well. The first 45 minutes went scoreless on the rain-soaked pitch on Monday.

Malone will need that same defensive intensity out of the back unit of Ryan Dean, Oriol Roset, Joseph Arciniegas and goalkeeper Nick Wilhelm if the Pioneers want to upend the Cedarville Yellow Jackets.

Nick Wilhelm made 11 saves in net for Malone against the Fighting Scots.

Offensively, the foursome of Patrick Alvarez, Nathan McFeaters, Patrick Brightbill and Antoine Leheron share the team lead in shots with eight each. Alvarez netted his first goal of the season in the 2-0 win over Trevecca Nazarene one week ago.

CEDARVILLE YELLOW JACKETS TEAM NOTES:
Schedule | Roster | Statistics

Cedarville has accumulated points in five of their six matches this season. The Yellow Jackets are third in the conference standings with 13 points.

Cedarville is ranked second in the G-MAC in most team shots taken with 105. They like to go up and down the field and attack offensively. The Yellow Jackets lead the conference in offside penalties.

Nick Marculo and Pedro Alvares lead Cedarville with two goals apiece. Both of Marculo's goals were game-winners, coming against Walsh and Kentucky Wesleyan. Marculo also has an assist and leads the team with five total points.

Jared Zacharias has started all six games in net, has made two shutouts and recorded 23 saves. His shutouts came versus Tiffin and Ohio Dominican.
