CANTON, Ohio -- The Malone University women's soccer team is at home once again this afternoon. The Pioneers host Kentucky Wesleyan College for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match.

MALONE-KENTUCKY WESLEYAN SOCCER SERIES
Tonight's match will be just the sixth meeting all-time between these two programs. Kentucky Wesleyan holds a 4-1 advantage in the overall series.
The lone Malone win in the series came in October of 2016. A 2-0 win at home.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Spectators and fans of both the Pioneers and the visiting teams are both welcome and encouraged to attend. Malone University is required to abide by GlenOak High School's COVID-19 protocols.
All spectators are required to wear a mask, only sit with members of their groups and families, and remain socially distant from other groups and families.
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE PIONEERS
- Thursday night's 2-1 win over Trevecca Nazarene was crucial in this abbreviated spring championship season. Malone currently sits in fourth place in the G-MAC standings.

Andrea Fink, Natalie Martorana and Allison Schmeltzer have all scored the first goals of their collegiate career this season.

The Pioneers continue to remain the top goal scoring team in the conference. Malone has scored eight goals this season, all of those coming from six different players.
- Keeley Malley continues to lead the league in shots on goal. 17 of her 20 shots so far this year have been on target.

Pior to kickoff in this afternoon's match the 2021 senior class of: Haley Berry, Sally Culig, Andrea Fink, Amanda Kinsey, Alexa Langenfeld, Addisyn Lewis, Brooke Lindenschmidt, Keeley Malley, Natalie Martorana, and Allison Schmeltzer will all be honored for their commitment and contributions to the Malone University women's soccer program.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT
Kentucky Wesleyan enters this afternoon's match off of their first win of the season, a 2-1 victory at Ursuline on Thursday night. Madisyn Hunt netted the game-winning goal in the 87th minute for the Panthers.
KWC has only played one other match this season, a 2-1 overtime loss at Trevecca Nazarene back on March 13.
Hunt, Bree Owen and Natalie Hinchcliffe have all scored goals for Kentucky Wesleyan this year.
Reegan Garrity has started both games in goal for the Panthers. She made 14 saves against Ursuline on Thursday night.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone closes out the home portion of their regular season schedule on Thursday. The Pioneers host Ohio Valley University. Kickoff from GlenOak High School is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
