Canton, Oh. -- Thursday evening, the Malone University men's soccer team faced off against Tiffin University for another Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup.
The Dragons (4-4-2) took a commanding first half lead and kept the momentum despite a last minute Pioneer (0-11-0) rally.
Tiffin built a strong 2-0 lead by halftime, and then added two more goals in the second half despite Malone gaining a little momentum late in the game.
Unfortunately, the Dragons defense was able to withstand the pressure put on by the Pioneers, as the Dragons held on for the 4-0 win.
PIONEER POINTS
- Malone was out-shot by TNU 20-3, 7-0 on target.
- Malone led the Dragons in saves; 3 to Tiffin's 0.
