North Canton, Ohio -- Saturday evening, the Malone University men's soccer team faced off against rival Walsh University on the road for another conference matchup.
The Cavaliers (10-3-3), put the pressure on with two goals in the first half, but the Pioneer men (1-14-0) found the back of the net three times in the second half to get their first win of the season over their cross county rival.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
The Cavs came out hot, scoring within the first 16 minutes but a crucial own goal tied the game in the 28th minute.
The Cavs then found the back of the net again right before half time making the score 2-1 at the break.
Dylan Metz, assisted by
Gavin Csiszar, opened up the second half with a goal in the 52nd minute to tie the game at 2-2.
Walsh bounced back right away and scored in the 54th minute to make it a 3-2 game.
The Malone men had an answer for the Cavs, though, with
Gavin Csiszar finding the back of the Walsh net, assisted by
Andrew Brengelman, tying the game at 3-3.
In the final 30 seconds of the match,
Gavin Csiszar called game with a solo goal to end the Pioneer's losing streak. With an emotional goal, the Malone men get their first win of the season and is looking to keep momentum into their next game.

- Malone was out-shot by Walsh 22-9 but it didn't matter because Malone shot with precision with 6 of those shots being on target.
