FINDLAY, Ohio -- Saturday afternoon, the Malone University men's soccer team faced off against Findlay University on the road for another conference matchup.
The Oilers (6-6-1), put the pressure on with two early goals and then netted one more in the middle of the second half to close out the game against the Pioneers (0-14-0)
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
The Oilers came out of the gate strong, scoring two in the first 17 minutes.
The Pioneer defense regrouped, and held out the Oilers offense for the rest of the half.
During the second half, the Pioneers stepped up their offense which unfortunately resulted into them conceding another goal late in the 63rd minute.
The Malone men weren't able to find the back of the net despite their 8 attempts on goal.
Findlay University ended up shutting out the Pioneers 3-0.

Malone travels to in town rival Walsh University next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. for another G-MAC matchup.
