CANTON, Ohio -- Thursday night, the Malone University men's soccer team faced off against Trevecca Nazarene for the second time this season, this time at home.
The Trojans (4-5-1), put the pressure on with an early goal and then netted two more in the second half to close out the game against the Pioneers (0-13-0)
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
The Trojans came out of the gate strong, scoring in the 13th minute.
The Pioneer defense regrouped, and held out the Trojans offense for the rest of the half.
During the second half, the Trojans kept the momentum rolling and were able to apply some heavy pressure on the Malone men.
The Trojans ended up finding the back of the net in both the 68th and 76th minutes.
The Malone men weren't able to find the back of the net despite their 13 attempts on goal.
Trevecca Nazarene University wins 3-0 at Pioneer Park.

- Malone was out-shot by Trevecca 23-13, 14-8 on target.
