Tournament Results
TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Malone University women's golf team played in the Tiffin University Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday of this week.Â
The Pioneers improved their team score by six strokes on the second day to finish in a tie for second place overall with Saginaw Valley State University. Both teams shot a 36-hole score of 658.Â
The event was won by the host, Tiffin Dragons, with a two-day team score of 640.Â
Christina Williams was the only player in the tournament field to shoot two rounds in the 70s. Her 36-hole total of 155 earned her the medalist honors for the event.Â
Hunter Farrell,
Samantha Tinsley, and
Jocelyn Troyer all finished inside the top-20 overall for Malone.Â

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Pioneers will head south next week to play in the Women's Music City Invitational. The event will be hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University October 18 and 19 at the Old Fort Golf Club in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.Â
