The Malone University volleyball team, coming off of a victory over Ohio Dominican in its Great Midwest Athletic Conference opener last Saturday, is slated to host West Liberty University this Tuesday, October 1st in a non-conference matchup at 7:00 pm in Osborne Hall.

Last meeting
The two teams, separated by about 100 miles of drive time, met earlier this season at the Eckerd College Invitational in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Hilltoppers prevailed in four sets 25-19, 25-14, 13-25, 25-18.

Malone Notes

• Senior outside hitter Faith Lau produced a team-high 11 kills and 17 digs in the loss to West Liberty on September 7th to account for one of her six double-doubles this season.
• Senior middle hitter Hannah Eliason added 10 kills in the contest. She has reached double-digit kills eight times this season, including a team-high 11 kills in the win over Ohio Dominican last Saturday.
• Senior libero Sydney Black collected a team-high 19 digs in the win over ODU and now has double-digit digs in 13 of 14 matches.
• Freshman right side hitter Kayla Jarosz leads Malone with 2.40 kills per set.
• Malone is 1-1 at home this season

• The Hilltoppers are 0-3 on the road in 2019 and are have been swept in three sets in each of their last three matches overall.
• WLU is led by outsider Alissa Dickson (2.71 kills per set) and senior libero Kailee Cunningham (5.45 digs per set)
