Biography

2019: Jarosz was one of only two Pioneer players to participate in all 123 sets this season... The freshman made 22 starts in the 32 matches they played in the season... Jarosz was the team leader and ranked ninth in the G-MAC with 329 kills (2.67 kills per set) and had a .241 attack percentage... Tallied 113 digs, 38 blocks and 11 assists... Had 17 kills versus St Rose (9/21/19) with an impressive .517 hitting percentage in the match... Recorded her first collegiate double-double with 17 kills and a season-high 19 digs in a match at Kentucky Wesleyan (10/4/19)... Notched a career-best 19 kills in a home match versus Lake Erie (10/26/19).

Prior to Malone: Jarosz led Holy Name High School to a 26-3 record and an OHSAA Division II State Championship in 2018 under head coach Megan Green. Jarosz was the Green Wave's MVP, the Great Lakes Conference MVP, and a District 2 First Team Selection. Jarosz finished her senior season with 379 kills (4.2 kills per set), 176 digs, and 41 service aces. She had 17 kills in the State Championship victory. In the classroom, Jarosz earned First Honors all throughout high school. Kayla, who intends to major in Pre-Veterinary Studies, is the daughter of John and Christina Jarosz.
