The Malone University volleyball team will host Walsh University this Friday, October 11th in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup at 7:00 pm in Osborne Hall. Friday's match will be a "White Out" as the two teams meet for the first time this season.

Recent History
Malone has lost eight straight to the Cavaliers, including a five-set and a four-set loss last season. The Pioneers' last win over Walsh came during the 2015 season in North Canton.
Malone Notes
- The Pioneers are coming off of an 0-3 week, which included G-MAC road losses to Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene. Malone is one of three teams tied for seventh place in the G-MAC standings.
- In conference matches this season, the Pioneers rank third in the conference with 18 digs per set.
- Senior Sydney Black ranks sixth individually in the conference with 4.25 digs a set. The first-year libero enters Friday night's match with 999 career digs.
- Black and classmate Faith Lau, who is averaging 2.20 kills per set, are tied for the team lead with 20 service aces.
- Freshman right side Kayla Jarosz leads the Pioneers with 2.53 kills per set and a .258 attacking percentage. Jarosz has at least nine kills in four of the last nine matches, including a season-high 17 last Friday at Kentucky Wesleyan.
- Senior Hannah Eliason is second on the team in kills (2.22 k/s) and leads the team in total blocks (52). She tallied 20 kills in the two matches against Walsh last season.

- Antithetical to Malone, Walsh enters Friday night's match with three consecutive wins and are one of four unbeaten teams remaining in G-MAC play.
- The Cavaliers are led by outside hitters Lauren Loucks (3.71 kills per set) and Hallie Schroeder (2.89 kills, 3.59 digs per set) and setter Olivia Kearns, the defending G-MAC Athlete of the Week.
- Walsh enters the weekend ranked second in the G-MAC in hitting, third in kills, and fourth in opponent hitting percentage.
