The Malone University women's soccer team came up short on the road, falling 1-0 in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference contest against Ohio Dominican University on Thursday night at Panther Stadium in Columbus.
The Pioneers went toe-to-toe with the Panthers in a scoreless tie 0-0 at the end of the first half. Starting the second half in the 47
th minute the Panthers snuck a quick goal in by Samantha Buck. The score was Buck's fourth (4) goal of the season.
The Pioneers kept the Panthers in check the rest of the way but were unable to score themselves.
Ohio Dominican (2-1-0 overall, 1-0-0 G-MAC) held a 21-5 edge in total shots and a 6-3 shots-on-goal advantage
Kassidy Hannum and
Danielle Lung each managed to get two shots off with Hannum having both shots-on-goal while Lung had one.
