Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Malone Falls to Cedarville 4-0

The Malone University women's soccer team came up short on the road, falling 4-0 in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference contest against Cedarville University on Saturday night.

The venue was moved to the Athletes In Action Complex in Xenia, Ohio due to weather conditions.

The Pioneers were not able to weather the storm the Yellow Jackets' swarmed on them.  Cedarville was able to get a score just before first half in the 43rd minute by Hanna Atkinson (1). In the second half, the Yellow Jackets stung three more times in the 46th minute by Lindsey Smith (1), a team goal (1) in the 53rd minute and Olivia Hoffman (1) finished in the 60th minute.

Cedarville (3-1-1 overall, 2-1-0 G-MAC) held a 25-3 edge in total shots and a 11-0 shots-on-goal advantage

Alenna Bible, Danielle Lung and Allison Schmeltzer each managed to have shots in the match
