The Malone University volleyball team will play four matches at home as part of the Hall of Fame City Challenge this Friday, August 31st and Saturday, September 1st in Osborne Hall. The Pioneers went 4-0 in the challenge last season and will look to repeat their performance this weekend.

Malone NotesÂ
- Led by senior middle hitter Mallory Adams, the G-MAC East Player of the Week, the Pioneers posted a 2-2 record at the Ashland Invitational last weekend. Adams, who needs just three kills to reach 1,000 for her career, led the team in kills per set (3.29) and hitting percentage (.373), and was second in blocks (1.07/s)
- Junior hitter Hannah Eliason led the team in blocks (1.14/s), while libero Maggie Hamrock led Malone in digs (4.79/s).
- Hamrock, outside hitter Faith Lau, who averaged 3.36 kills per set, and setter Abbie Swaino each tallied a team-high four service aces. Swaino also posted a team-high 65 assists across 12 sets last weekend (5.42/s).
- As a team, Malone is currently 21st in NCAA DII in digs per set (19.6) and 25th in total blocks (32.0).
- The Pioneers were 10-4 at home last season and three of the four losses went to four sets.
