The Malone University women's soccer team will conclude its regular-season schedule on Tuesday night with a Great Midwest Athletic Conference road contest against rival Walsh University.
Playoff Picture:
The Pioneers are still mathematically alive to qualify for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament. In order to have a chance at earning the the eighth and final spot in the G-MAC Postseason, the Pioneers will need to defeat Walsh AND a tie will need to occur in Tuesday's match between Lake Erie College and Ursuline College. In that scenario, the Pioneers, Storm and Arrows would be in a three-team tie for the final playoff spot and would need to await the results of other G-MAC matches on Tuesday in order to settle the tiebreaker. However, If Malone loses to Walsh OR if either Lake Erie or Ursuline wins, then the Pioneers would be eliminated from postseason contention.
