GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Malone University women's soccer team had two representatives on the NCCAA All-Midwest Region team following the 2025 season. Senior forward
Brynn Mowrer and senior midfielder
Camryn Emerling were tabbed as All-Region players for the 5-9-3 Pioneers.
Â
Mowrer, from Burbank, Ohio, was also selected as Second Team All-Conference in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). Both Mowrer and the Norton, Ohio native Emerling were named Scholar-Athletes by the NCCAA as well. This is Mowrer's third season where she was a member of the NCCAA All-Region squad.
Â
Mowrer started in all 17 matches for Malone and set new career-highs in goals scored (6), points (14), game-winning goals (3) and minutes played (1386). She went on a run of four straight matches with at least one goal scored from October 2-11. 11 of her team-high 14 points came during that stretch of time. Mowrer ends her playing career with 45 points and 18 goals, good for third and fourth in the program's NCAA Division II era.
Â
Emerling joined Mowrer as a starter in all 17 matches on the year in the Pioneer midfield and played 1434 minutes. She recorded an assist at home versus Ohio Dominican University on a goal scored by
Gracie Ashton. Malone's defense was key to the team's success with three shutouts on the season. 12 of the team's 17 matches saw their opponents score one or fewer goals, thanks in part to the midfielder Emerling. The defense was ranked 18th in all of NCAA DII in fewest fouls at 5.88 per game on average.
