The Malone University men's soccer team lost 4-0 on the road Saturday evening to the Lake Erie Storm. The Pioneer men fall to 1-9 overall (1-6 G-MAC) on the season.
 
Malone held its own throughout the first half. Each team took seven shots, but neither team was able to find the back of the net. Cody Hilty was able to save all four shots on goal in the first half as the period ended in a 0-0 tie.
 
Things went downhill quickly in the second half. Just five minutes into the second half, Miguel Espinoza broke the stalemate. Four separate players would score a goal for the Storm in the second half, taking the 4-0 victory.
 
Cody Hilty had nine saves on the day. Sam Condon led the team with seven shots in the game, three of which were shots on goal.
 
The Pioneers will be back in action on October 5^th when they travel to Ohio Dominican University.
