The Malone University men's basketball team will play their regular season finale at Davis & Elkins in Elkins, West Virginia on Wednesday, February 22^nd at 7:30 p.m. In a fitting matchup, the Pioneers and Senators are in a close battle for the #3 seed in the conference tournament.

• The Pioneers are red hot right now. They have won five straight games, with their most recent win coming over the #2 team in the conference, Alderson Broaddus.
• The Battlers lead by four at halftime, but the Pioneers got hot from beyond the arc in the second half, shooting nearly 43% from downtown while Alderson Broaddus cooled down to just over 13% in the second half from deep range.
• Malone had only five turnovers throughout the contest, in which the Battlers turned into four points. Malone was able to score 21 points off of AB's 13 turnovers.
• Mitchell Spotleson poured in a team-high 22 points for Malone and Ty Jordan added another 20. Nate Sheppard neared a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing a team-high nine rebounds in the contest.
• Malone has made a G-MAC best 262 three-pointers this season. Only Kentucky Wesleyan is leading the team in three-point percentage, although the Pioneers have attempted over 300 more threes than Kentucky Wesleyan.
• The Pioneers continue to lead the conference in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio. Ty Jordan leads all individual players in each of those categories as well.
• Djuro Pantos snagged four offensive rebounds in this past Saturday's contest, raising his average to 2.3 offensive rebounds per game, fifth best in the G-MAC.

• While Malone has been one of the hottest three-point shooting teams in the G-MAC this season, Davis & Elkins has been one of the best at shutting down three-point shooters. The Senators are forcing opponents to shoot a conference-low 32.8% from beyond the arc.
• The Senators are leading the conference in both offensive and defensive rebounds per game, grabbing 15.3 on the offensive glass and grabbing 29 on defense. Rickenjee Bellevue leads the conference with 11.7 rebounds per game. Kevin Bracy-Davis is second, averaging 8.5 rebounds per game.
• Bracy-Davis is also the conference's leading scorer, averaging 21.2 points per game.
• Bellevue has the highest shooting percentage in the conference, shooting 64.8% from the field. He also leads the conference in blocked shots with 40 on the season.
• Both Bracy-Davis and Bellevue had huge games in the team's tough loss to Kentucky Wesleyan. Bracy-Davis dropped 30 points while grabbing 12 rebounds. Bellevue 19 rebounds and 18 points on a 9 of 11 shooting performance.
