The Malone University men's and women's swimming and diving teams each picked up victories over Hiram on Friday evening. The men won 101-72, while the women won 89-51.Â

Men's HighlightsÂ
Wesley Hammond finished with the fastest time in the 800 Meter Freestyle. Hammond finished the race in 9:23.83.
Peyton Hamilton finished with the second fastest time in the event, 10:14.33.
Cobie Mikesell swam the fastest time in the the 50 Meter Freestyle. Mikesell swam a 25.80 in the event. Â
Erik Melekh touched the wall first in the 200 Meter Individual Medley in a time of 2:28.23. Following just behind Melekh was Brad Bowers who finished in 2:38.19.
Wesley Hammond swam the fastest time in the 200 Meter Butterfly. Hammond's time was 2:28.16. Erik Melekh, who won the 200 Meter Individual Medley, followed Hammond in a time of 2:32.03. Â
Rhett Sanford fought tooth and nail in the 200 Meter Backstroke to edge out Hiram's Brad Gunther for the fastest time in the race. Sanford finished in 2:24.16, just under a second before Gunther.
Women's Highlights
The relay team of Nicole Kenny, Alex Dutton, Stephanie Sprague and Quincy Livchak finished the 200 Meter Medley Relay in the fastest time, 2:18.25. Â
Lauren Cantor finished the 800 Meter in a time of 11:02.55, the fastest in the race.
Sarah Mally had the fastest time in the 200 Meter Freestyle, 2:29.28. Â
Alex Dutton edged out her teammate, Anna Hesseman, by .08 seconds in the 200 Meter Individual Medley. Dutton finished in 2:49.84, while Hesseman finished in 2:49.92. Dutton would go on to finish fastest in the 200 Meter Backstroke in a time of 2:48.77.
Quincy Livchak touched the wall first in the 200 Meter Butterfly in a time of 2:56.67. Â
The Pioneers will be back in action on November 11th when they will travel to Notre Dame (Ohio).
