The Malone University men's and women's swimming and diving teams split with Davis & Elkins on Friday evening. Malone's women's team defeated Davis & Elkins by a score of 173-104. Malone's men fell to the Senators by a score of 154-126.

"A season is a series of progressions, and we moved in the right direction tonight. Strong swims on both the men's and women's teams, and we have a lot of good things to build on."
 
Men's Highlights
 
Peyton Hamilton took first place in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:26.64.
 
Brice Dixon won the 100 Yard Butterfly in a time of 52.59. Dixon's time is seventh all-time at Malone. Dixon moved to seventh all-time in the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 2:01.72.
 
The four-man team of Brice Dixon, Markus Brunzel, Noah Curl, and Cobie Mikesell won the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay in a time of 1:30.98.
 
Nick Wertz' time of 4:30.35 in the 400 Yard Individual Medley moves him to ninth all-time at Malone.
 
Women's Highlights
 
Abby Reynolds won the 200 Yard Freestyle in a time of 1:58.12. Reynolds would go on to win the 50 Yard Freestyle with teammates Lauren Cantor, Carolin Friedrich, and Kaitlynn Hoch finishing 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th.
 
Reynolds won the 100 Yard Freestyle in a time of 54.49. Nicole Kenny moved into the eighth place at Malone in the event with a time of 58.48.
Denise Quentin and Christina Neumann finished first and second in the 200 Yard Butterfly. Quinton finished in 2:24.24 while Neumann finished in 2:26.78.
 
Quentin went on to win the 100 Yard Freestyle in a time of 1:00.65. Quentin won the 400 Yard Individual Medley in a time of 4:56.79. Her time is third all-time at Malone.
 
Alex Dutton moved to eighth at Malone in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:39.47.
 
The Pioneers' had relay teams finish first and second in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. The first place team consisted of Abby Reynolds, Kaila Butterworth, Denise Quentin, and Lauren Cantor. They finished in a time of 1:55.92. The second place team consisted of Stephanie Sprague, Jessica Slater, Quincy Livchak, and Nicole Kenny.
 
The Pioneer ladies would go on to win the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay as well. The team of Kaila Butterworth, Nicole Kenny, Quincy Livchak and Lauren Cantor won the race in a time of 1:45.88.
