The Malone University men's basketball team will take on Davis & Elkins on Saturday, December 7^th. The Pioneers will be hosting Church Congregation Appreciation Day on Saturday as well. Local church guests will get into Saturday's game for $2 and local pastors will get in for free. Admission will be free for children 13 and under as well. There will be a halftime contest and giveaways.

All-time Series: Malone is 4-0 all-time against Davis & Elkins. The Pioneers and Senators met early in the 2015-16 season where the Pioneers pulled out a 108-105 victory in overtime.

• In last year's meeting between Malone and Davis & Elkins, the Pioneers' 108 points was their highest point total on the season. Mitchell Spotleson had a double-double in the contest, scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Nate Sheppard scored a game-high 23 points.
• The Pioneers opened up conference play this past week in a 75-61 loss to Alderson Broaddus, the #2 team in the G-MAC last season. Prior to the loss to the Battlers the Pioneers set a school record for three-pointers made with 20 in a 114-62 victory over Wright State Lake.
• Mitchell Spotleson hit a career-high seven of eight three pointers in the victory over Wright State Lake. Spotleson's performance helped him earn G-MAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week honors. Spotleson had a double-double in the conference opener against Alderson Broaddus as well, scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
• Ty Jordan is currently fourth in the conference in scoring at 15.6 points per game. He is leading the conference in assists (4.6 APG), assist to turnover ratio (2.8), and total three pointers made (30).
• Nate Sheppard was back in the starting lineup in the conference opener against Alderson Broaddus. He scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 31 minutes for the Pioneers.

• Davis & Elkins' game against Malone this Saturday will be their conference-opener on the season. The Senators finished fourth in the conference last season with a 12-17 (5-7) record.
• The Senators are coming off of an 84-72 victory over West Virginia Tech. Both Kevin Bracy-Davis and Jordan McElveen scored over 20 points in the contest.
• Kevin Bracy-Davis, a 6-7 senior, is leading the G-MAC in scoring, averaging 21.6 points per game. Bracy-Davis is also second in the conference in rebounding, grabbing 7.3 rebounds per game. His teammate, Rickenjee Bellevue leads the conference with 10.3 rebounds per game.
• Along with leading the conference in rebounding, Bellevue also leads the conference in blocked shots, and is second in field-goal percentage.
• Jordan McElveen trails only Malone's Ty Jordan in assist-to-turnover ratio in the conference.
